Reese Witherspoon seems to be everywhere these days, mostly as a producer. She has recently signed a deal with Starz to develop and produce the multi-generational family drama series Kin. Written and co-produced by Davita Scarlett, known for Queen Sugar and Constantine, the show will focus on three generations of women whose lives are impacted by the return of a controversial matriarch. It will explore “issues around identity and the secrets family members keep to protect themselves and one another,” says Witherspoon.
